Mersey Murder is a series of images exploring poverty in the suburbs of Liverpool. Due to the decline in the shipping industry, manufacturing and several failed regeneration programmes the suburbs have been left to decline into vacated and neglected spaces. Communities are left neighbouring these zones where opportunities come few and far between, crime and gang culture has become a by-product with murals marking the landscape showing the tip of the iceberg of issues that face these communities.
